1. How long do you keep the gauze in place for a single extracted tooth?   30 minutes
2. How long do you keep the gauze in place for extracted wisdom tooth/teeth?  1 hour
3. How may I obtain a refill on narcotic pain Rx?  You must first make an appointment to be seen by Dr. Cornella to evaluate the situation.
4. How long should bleeding and or nausea last?  If extraction occured in AM, by bedtime symptoms should improve;  if extraction occured in late afternoon, by next morning symptoms should improve.
5. How should I expect swelling to progress?  Day 3 typically presents with the worst swelling symptoms.
6. What should I do for any rapidly worsening symptoms?  If this occurs on weekends or after 4:30pm weekdays, call the answering service.
